[SPONSOR] IS SUPPORTING CHILDREN WITH CANCER VIA TEAM RYNKEBY

[Sponsor] has signed a sponsorship agreement with charity cycling team Team Rynkeby, which cycles to Paris every year to benefit children with cancer and their families.

When 1,750 cyclists and 450 volunteers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Faroe Islands and Iceland set off for Paris this summer to support the battle against children's cancer, it will be with help from [Sponsor].

[Sponsor] has just entered into a [gold sponsorship / silver sponsorship / bronze sponsorship / team sponsorship] with Scandinavia's largest charity cycling team, Team Rynkeby.

The sponsorship is for DKK [amount], which will go in its entirety to support children with cancer.

"[Insert reasons why the company is supporting the children with cancer via Team Rynkeby], says [name, title, sponsor].

100% to children with cancer
This will be the sixteenth time that Team Rynkeby rides to Paris to raise money for children with cancer. The first time was in 2002, when 11 cyclists gathered together for a good cause. Today Team Rynkeby is one of the largest and most visible fitness and charity events in Scandinavia.

The participants, in addition to training hard for the big cycling trip to Paris, are also raising money for children with cancer. The participants cover their own costs, and

Rynkeby Foods takes care of the central costs of the project, which means that all of the money that the participants raise goes in its entirety to one of the five children's cancer organisations that Team Rynkeby works with in Scandinavia.

"Most of the money goes towards funding research into childhood cancer. "Children's cancer is still the illness that takes the most lives of children aged 1-15, and there are still far too many children who suffer serious side effects from the treatment they receive," says Carl Erik Dalbøge.

In 2016, Team Rynkeby raised € 8.84 million for children with cancer throughout Scandinavia. Team Rynkeby will be cycling to Paris from 8-15 July 2017.
